Simply Caring is no longer enough when it comes to area children. What is needed is a little action to back it up! And, that is exactly what the General Federated Women’s Club (GFWC) of Escanaba does. Our main function is to raise money to help local children.

In tough economic times like these, it is the children who most keenly feel the pain of going without. When stressed out parents are worried about just putting food on the table for their families or filling the gas tankto get to work or are facing possible foreclosure, a warm winter coat and mittens or a new backpack for school suddenly becomes out of their reach.

Please help the Escanaba Women’s Club provide these items and more for our children because they are indeed the children of all of us.

Please support our major fundraiser, our Charity Ball. Plan to attend December 6, 2008 at the Danforth Place. Social Hour is from 6 pm to 7 pm, Dinner at 7 pm with dancing and a great time to follow.
